The OIER also completes mandated reporting and serves as a primary source for information on institutional effectiveness at SDCCD.

SDCCD Awarded the AI Grand Challenge Grant
The California Education Learning Lab is pleased to announce the recipients of the AI Grand Challenge: Leveraging AI for Teaching and Learning grants, aimed at fostering innovation in the use of AI to enhance curriculum and pedagogy within California’s public higher education system.
SDCCD Selected for Institute on AI, Pedagogy, and the Curriculum
The San Diego Community College District is one of 124 higher education institutions selected nationwide to be appointed to the American Association of Colleges and Universities (AAC&U) Institute on AI, Pedagogy, and the Curriculum.
