COVID-19 Information for Students

The San Diego Community College District passed a resolution authorizing the Chancellor to develop and implement a COVID-19 vaccination requirement for students, staff and faculty. We remain committed in providing a high-quality learning experience for every student while keeping the health and safety of our community in mind.
San Diego Community College District has implemented the following:
- Effective Spring 2023: Masks are no longer required while on district property except for student health facilities. Students and/or employees may wear a mask if they choose to do so.
- Effective Fall 2022: The San Diego Community College District has decided to remove the vaccination requirement effective Fall 2022. Some classes still require the vaccination due to federal, state or program requirements. Please refer to the class schedule for more information.
The District still strongly recommends that students be fully vaccinated and receive the booster when eligible.
